Tropical Green Smoothie
Tropical green smoothie with pure multi-collagen protein is a great way to start your day. Make sure to use non-gelling type pure collagen protein powder without additives, sugar, or sweeteners.

Frozen Fruit
  • 2 - 10 oz bags frozen tropical fruit about 4 cups, w/o strawberries works best
Dairy
  • 2 cups non-fat plain yogurt {regular not Greek} like Nancy's or Stonyfield Farms brand. Note - Greek yogurt is too thick to mix, if using add a bit of water
Pure Multi Collagen Protein non-gelling type
  • 8 heaping tbsp unflavored multi collagen protein non-gel type Healthy Body Organics brand is a favorite
Fresh Herbs - Spices
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger root about a 2" piece, peeled and chopped
Fresh Vegetables
  • 5 oz container baby spinach about 6 cups

Instructions
  1. IMPORTANT - do not add multi collagen protein powder at the start of blending.
  2. Chop and peel ginger. Add to a high powered blender like a VitaMix, Ninja, or NurtiBullet along with frozen fruit, yogurt, and spinach. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. If mixture is too thick or if using Greek yogurt, add a little bit of water to help blend.
  4. Add multi collagen protein powder to blender and blend on low just long enough to mix.
  5. Too cold for a smoothie? Choose another Skinny5 Jump Start breakfast.
