Instructions
  1. Make Skinny5 Mild Taco Seasoning Recipe. Recipe makes enough seasoning for the 2 Jump Start meals. Save 1/2 of seasoning {3-1/2 tablespoons} for other recipe. Store in a small jar with a tight fitting lid.
  2. Skinny5 Mild Taco Seasoning Recipe - in a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon sweet or smoked paprika with 1-1/2 teaspoons each of the following: onion powder, garlic powder, ground cumin, along with 1/2 teaspoon of Ancho Chili Pepper powder. Note - add more Ancho Chili Pepper powder for spicier flavor. Regular chili pepper powder is spicier. If using, adjust amount to taste.
  3. If cheese is not shredded, grate cheese, add to a small bowl, and set aside.
  4. Separate individual lettuce leaves. Wash lettuce, add to salad spinner to remove excess water. Transfer to large bowl and set aside.
  5. Spray large skillet or frying pan with propellant-free cooking spray oil {avocado, coconut, or extra virgin olive oil}. Warm pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Add ground meat to pan. Use half of Skinny5 Mild Taco Seasoning recipe. Sprinkle seasoning on meat, turning it over to coat both sides. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Remove from heat and transfer to bowl. If using, add salt and pepper, to taste.
  7. Add a bit of taco meat to each individual lettuce "cup", top with salsa or picante sauce and shredded cheese. Serve with a side of "riced" cauliflower.
