Instructions
  1. If using fresh broccoli cut out stem and leaves. Cut broccoli into florets.
  2. Add a steamer basket to a large pot. Add water to pot up to the bottom of steamer basket. Place fresh or frozen broccoli florets on steamer basket.
  3. Cover pot and cook over high heat until broccoli is tender, about 3 to 8 minutes, taking care not to overcook so broccoli does not loose it's color.
  4. Note - add more water during cooking if needed.
