- 1 pound extra lean grass fed ground beef
Dried Spices - Seasonings
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes more or less, for spicier or milder flavor
Fresh Herbs - Spices
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon Italian or flat-leaf parsley note - omit if you cannot find
Optional
- sliced cheese
- burger fixings lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc.

Instructions
- Peel and press or mince garlic. Add to a medium-size bowl. Wash and chop Italian or flat-leaf parsley. Add to bowl with ground beef, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes. Add more or less pepper flakes for spicier {1 teaspoon, or more} or milder {1/4 teaspoon} flavor. Shape mixture into 3 or 4 burger patties of equal size.
- Cook on barbecue grill, under broiler, or in a large frying pan on the stove top about 5 minutes on each side until cooked the way you like your burgers.
- Optional - add sliced cheese to each burger near the end of cooking. Serve with burger fixings of your choice: tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, etc.
