Instructions
  1. Wash cauliflower, cut out stem and leaves. With floret side up, slice cauliflower head into planks. Arrange cauliflower on foil lined baking sheet. Lightly spray with propellant-free cooking oil {avocado, coconut, or extra virgin olive oil}.
  2. Optional - sprinkle cauliflower with a few dried spices of choice like garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper, Ancho chili pepper powder, crushed red peppers, etc. for more flavor. If using, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Turn cauliflower over and repeat.
  3. Set oven on 500°F or highest temperature. Place baking sheet on closest rack to oven heating element. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cauliflower is lightly browned on one side.
  4. Remove cauliflower, turn over using tongs, and return to oven. Bake cauliflower an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned on the other side. Cauliflower is done when tender when pierced with a fork.
  5. If using, add salt and pepper, to taste.
