  • 1 tbsp almond, cashew, or coconut cream or 2-3 tbsp clean nut milk: almond, cashew, coconut

  • 1 tbsp heavy cream or coconut, almond, or cashew cream or 2 tbsp half-n-half

  • fresh thyme and black pepper or any other fresh or dried spices of choice

Instructions
  1. If using fresh cauliflower, wash and remove stem and leaves. Cut into florets. Add steamer basket to large pot and fill with water to bottom of basket. Bring to a boil over high heat. Add fresh or frozen cauliflower florets to steaming basket. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until cauliflower is tender.
  2. Add cooked cauliflower to large bowl and mash with a potato masher. Add oil.
  3. Optional - add cream, nut milk of choice, or half-and-half. Mash into cauliflower. If using, add salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Optional Garnish - garnish with fresh thyme leaves and fresh ground black pepper. Or try other spices like smashed roasted garlic cloves, fresh minced scallions {green end} or chives, garlic powder, etc.
