Easy Cheesy Baked Meatballs

Ingredients

- 1/2 lb extra lean ground meat choose from turkey, chicken, or beef
Dairy
- 1 extra large egg
- 1/4 cup asiago, parmesan, or romano cheese shredded
Nuts - Seeds
- 1/4 cup walnut pieces ground to a fine flour

- 1-1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a glass pie pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Add walnuts to a mini chopper and process into a fine flour. Pour into a large bowl. Add ground meat of choice, shredded cheese of choice, and Italian seasoning. If using, add salt and pepper, to taste.
- Separate egg white from yolk. Do not use egg yolk. Add egg white to bowl. Mix well. Use a heaping tablespoon of meat to form small golf ball size meatballs and add to pie pan. Repeat until all meat mixture is used.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
- This recipe is a half recipe or 2 servings and makes 8 to 9 meatballs. Double ingredients for a full recipe or 4 servings which makes 16 to 18 meatballs.
