  • 32 oz container chicken broth choose a clean brand w/o added sugar or oil like Field Day Organic
Meat
  • 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts 8 ounces or 2 servings of 4 oz each
Fresh Vegetables
  • 1 head broccoli about 2+ cups florets, chopped
  • 2 large carrots about 1 cup, sliced
  • 1 large celery stalk about 1/2 cup, sliced

Instructions
  1. Add chicken broth to soup pot and bring to a boil. Cube chicken and add to pot. Reduce heat, cover pot and simmer 30 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
  2. In the meantime wash and prepare vegetables. Peel and slice carrot. Measure 1 cup and set aside. Slice celery, measure 1/2 cup and set aside. Cut stem and leaves from head of broccoli. Cut into florets and chop, using more floret than stem. Set aside.
  3. Once chicken is tender, add carrots to soup pot. Return to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add celery, bring to a boil, cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until vegetables are just tender. Add chopped broccoli florets and cook 3 to 5 minutes longer or until broccoli is just tender.
