Creamy cashew or almond creamer is great with herbal tea. Add real vanilla bean for vanilla flavored cream.

Instructions
  1. Add 1 cup of water to a 2 cup Pyrex glass measuring cup or similar container. Microwave to boiling. Add cashews or almonds. Cover and let stand about 30 minutes.
  2. Add nut and water mixture to small blender cup and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Place a small sieve over a coffee mug and pour cream through a little at a time, pushing down with a spoon to squeeze all of the cream out of the leftover nut pulp. Or use a nut bag.
  4. Optional Vanilla flavored cream--split 1 inch piece of vanilla bean, scrap seeds into cream, and mix well. Store cream in a small jar with a tight fitting lid and use within 5 days.
  5. Serve cream with herbal tea. Limit to 2 tablespoons a day. Substitute 2 tablespoons cream for 1 protein snack during Jump Start.
