  • 16 oz jar all-natural marinara pasta sauce w/o added oil or sugar like Mezzetta brand
Dried Spices - Seasonings
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds lends sauce an Italian sausage flavor, omit if you don't like licorice flavor
Fresh Herbs - Spices
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic peeled and pressed or minced

Instructions
  1. Lightly spray a large frying pan with a lid with propellant-free spray oil {avocado, coconut, or extra virgin olive oil}. Warm over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey or chicken. Cook until no longer pink.
  2. Add marinara sauce to frying pan along with fennel seeds and minced or pressed garlic clove[s]. Cover pan, reduce heat to low, and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Serve Bolognese Sauce over zucchini noodles or zoodles {recipe link follows}.
