- 1 cup avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil
Miscellaneous
- 1-1/2 cups wine white for chicken and seafood, red for beef
Fresh Vegetables
- 1 large onion

- 1 large lemon

- 4 cloves garlic

- fresh herbs and spices of choice do not add salt until meat is done grilling

Instructions
- Wash onion, garlic cloves, and lemon. Peel and press or finely mince garlic cloves. Add to a medium-size bowl along with oil and wine. Use white wine for chicken and seafood and red wine for beef. Squeeze lemon and add juice to bowl. Whisk ingredients together.
- Arrange meat in a glass baking dish in a single layer. Pour marinade over meat. Optional - wash and chop fresh herbs of choice and place on top of meat. Slice onion and arrange on top of meat.
- Cover baking dish and refrigerate 1 hour or longer, turning meat over halfway through marinating.
- Heat barbecue. Remove meat from marinade and place on grill using tongs {do not pierce meat by using fork or knife}.
- Brush meat with marinade while grilling.
